A Fresh Take Leads to Telly Award
Children’s Circle of Care Sponsor Appreciation Video
When we heard that our client had been used to thanking their sponsors at an annual event by putting the sponsor’s name and logo on a slide and saying ‘Thank You’ 15 times in a row, we said, “Let us take a shot at this and see what you think!”
Children’s Circle of Care is an international organization of 24 children’s hospitals. Every year the CCC hosts a high profile event in a member hospital city to educate and thank leading benefactors. Local sponsors make this event possible, so we wanted to create an appreciation video that directly connects the sponsors to the irrepressible spirit of childhood. And with the help of some very energetic and adorable children, o.k. a few of them are ours, we achieved our goal.
A good day: Our fresh take on saying “thank you” garnered a Telly Award.
Children’s Circle of Care North American Leadership Conference, Opening Video
To open the conference portion of the event, our video had to showcase Seattle as the host city, name all 24 member hospitals, and most importantly, it had to communicate the impact of private giving on advancing children’s medical research and patient care; the video had to inspire donors to continue giving in a tough economy.
As parents, aunts and uncles, we initially approached this video thinking about our own children. We thought about the typical childhood fears they face (riding a bike, learning to skate, playing ball). And then we thought about children facing far greater challenges and we found our inspiration in the universal truth that every child deserves the chance to prevail.
An even better day: Event organizers from two member hospitals told us this was the most cohesive and best event they had ever attended.
